Morning market in Katsuura

Morning market in Katsuura is well known as one of the three biggest morning markets in Japan along with those in Wajima-city o Ishikawa pref and Takayama city of Gifu pref. This market started 400 years ago. Closed on every Wednesday.

Tsuki no Sabaku Memorial Hall

Tsuki no Sabaku Memorial Hall was built commemorating nursery rhyme "Tsuki no Sabaku" known that the painter Masao Kato wrote the lyric. On the beach across a road from the memorial hall, statues of prince and princess riding on camels stand.

With Ocean (Katsuura marine harbor)

You can enjoy sightseeing of Katsuura bay riding a cruiser. You can experience the steering of the cruiser.

Katsuura Undersea Park

An undersea observatory of the biggest size in Eastern countries. Adjacent to the observatory, there is Coastal Branch of Natural History Museum (adult：200 yen).
